Hopnosis started when I (Jarryd) heard about this product that was available everywhere in the USA. I thought “Wow, that sounds delicious. I have to try some” but I couldn’t seem to find any available.

Not to be deterred I decided to try making it by myself. In creepy shack at my mate’s (Nathan) house, I slapped together a recipe that I had thought about for all of 2 seconds. To everyone’s surprise it was undrinkable, so I had to go back to the drawing board.

After some research I tried again and made something that was at least drinkable. For the next 2 years I made batch after batch, tweaking a little bit each time until I landed on the recipe that we now use.
